The Tanzania Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics Services Agency (TEMESA) was established by the government notice No.254 published on 26th August, 2005

To take over the functions which were previously undertaken by the then Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) Division of the Ministry of Works.

The Agency was created to further objectives of the Executive Agencies Act No. 30 of 1997 to make it provide efficient and effective electrical, mechanical, electronics services, reliable

And safe ferry transport services and equipment hire services to government institutions and the general public.

MISSION

To provide reliable, safe and high quality electrical, mechanical and electronic services, ferry services and hiring out plant and equipment using modern technology.

VISION

To be an efficient and innovative organization that provides an engineering services in the region that are focused on customer satisfaction.

What We Do

The functions of the Agency are as follows:

(i) Undertake an effective maintenance of Government Owned Motor vehicles, motor cycles and Plants;

(ii) Undertake an effective maintenance of Electrical, Electronics/ICTs, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems in all Government Buildings;

(iii) Operation and maintenance of Traffic Signals and Street Lights;

(iv) Hiring of transport for Government VIPs;

(v) Hiring of Plants and Equipment to Government Institutions and the Public at large;

(vi) Ensure safe operation and maintenance of all Government Owned Ferry Services;

(vii) Provision of quality Technical Advice and Consultancy services in Engineering Works and related services to Government institutions and the Public at large;

(viii) Provision of quality Technical Advice and Consultancy services on new installations related to Engineering Works and Services;

(ix) Design and supervise new installations related to Engineering Works and Services.

ADVERTISEMENT OF JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Secretary of the Secretariat of Public Service Employment on behalf of the Employer Tanzania Technical and Electrical Agency (TEMESA), welcomes job applications from Tanzanians with qualifications and ability to fill 13 job vacancies as as shown below:

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ALL JOB APPLICANTS.

i. All applicants should be Tanzanian Citizens and not more than 45 years of age except for those who are already in the public service;

ii. All applicants must attach a birth certificate.

iii. Applicants who are already public servants and have obtained qualifications to intervene in cadres different from the ones they have, pass their application letters of job opportunities for their Employers and Employers should satisfy themselves accordingly.

iv. Applicants should attach a self-sufficient personal information (Detailed C.V) with reliable addresses and phone numbers as well as the names of the referees a reliable trio.

V. All applications must be accompanied by professional certificates, information, copies of form certificates
fourth and sixth form for those who reached that level with graduation certificates various training based on the characteristics of the relevant work.

– Form IV and VI exam certificate

– Professional certificates (Professional certificates from respective boards)

v. Testimonials”, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of results”, documents fourth and sixth form results (FORM IV AND FORM VI RESULTS SLIPS) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

vii. Applicants who studied outside of Tanzania should verify their certificates have been reviewed and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA and NACTE).

viii. Retired Civil Service applicants are not allowed to apply
unless they have the permission of the Secretary General.

ix. Job applicants who are already employed in entry-level positions located in Public servants should not beg and should follow instructions contained in the Circular By CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated November 30, 2010.

x. Submission of information and falsifying characteristics of the parties will be taken measures legally.

xi. The deadline for sending job applications is September 6, 2022.
